Potoroo is an iOS app for capturing thoughts quickly — like posting to social media, but for an audience of one: you. No followers, no algorithm, no performance.

## Core Concepts

- **Short posts**: Write thoughts in 140 characters or fewer (configurable). No titles, no formatting. Just text.
- **Timeline**: Posts collect into a scrollable timeline. Post when you want, skip when you want.
- **Private**: All data stays on-device by default. Optional iCloud sync uses your private iCloud container — the developer cannot see your data.
- **Conversation with your past self**: Reply to old posts, quote them, react with emoji. Your journal is alive.
